Missions Update: October – December 2020

Spread the love

Dearly Beloved,

“We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus mighty be made manifest in our body” II Cor 4:8-10

Season greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are thankful to God despite COVID-19 pandemic for bringing us to the last month of the year 2020. God kept us safe and secured in the remote and dangerous paths in the jungles. As you invest into the ministry, know you are also investing in the lives of millions that may continue to remain unreachable without your support. Together, we can continue to share the HOPE of Christ in the dark places of the earth.

FIELD UPDATES
We have been quite overwhelmed by many odds and challenges against the advance of the gospel in these past months in our various missions fields. They were months of multidimensional pressure but we thank God we were not crushed by the Fulani herdsmen menace. God continue to bless us with more souls from our various missions fields. At Kondo field, over 17 persons surrendered their lives to Christ and at Kwalita, about 8 persons gave their lives to Christ. These are coverts for discipleship. Pray along with us that effort at discipling the new coverts will yield lasting result. Sincerely, the divine speed cannot be divorced from your sacrificial inputs.

KWALITA MISSIONS HOUSE PROJECT

We embarked on Missions House building project in our Kwalita missions field in order to accommodate our missionaries and guests. The building has 3 rooms and a parlor.
We earmarked the project in 4 phases:
1st phase: Foundation laying
2nd phase: Building
3rd phase: Roofing
4th phase: Plastering and flooring
The foundation of the Missions House was laid with its challenges. The problem of carrying cement blocks from the town to the field was enormous; many blocks were broken due to the bad road and high cost of transportation. We over spent our initial budget but God helped us to laid the foundation with about 200,000.
The second phase is the building of the house. We shall use mud blocks for the building and will be shock with cement. We trust God for 387,000 for the building. Workmanship for the builder 85,000. Our members volunteered to work in order to reduce the cost. The cost of building materials keep escalating with the current inflation in the country. We covet your prayers that we can start the 2nd phase work as soon as possible for God to send in funds to complete the Missions House.

CONCLUSION
Once again, thank you so much for consistent partnership. We solicit your prayers for provision in order to complete project. Pray for encouragement, divine provision and protection for our foot soldiers. Pray for me and my family that God will provide to meet personal and ministry needs and above all inner strength and good health.
We pray for you often that God of heaven will replenish your source and reward the labour of your love. Wednesday is the prayer day for all our partners.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR

Yours in His Exciting Service
