Greetings in Jesus name.
We trust this Update will find you growing in His grace. Thanks so much for your consistency in joining hands with us in the task of reaching the unreached people. It is a great pleasure to bring good tidings of what God has helped us to accomplish through your partnership; in our pursuit of advancing God’s kingdom in the dark places of the earth and to update your prayer list with the current challenges we are going through.
MOTORBIKES & GENERATOR
God enabled us to buy a New motorbike boxer and a fairly used motorbike which was given to two missionaries. Hitherto, these two missionaries have been trekking several kilometers covering over 50 kilometers radius in about 7 villages. With these motorbikes, they would be able to reach out effectively to these communities who have never heard the gospel.
Also we were able to obtain a fairly used small generating set for some of our outreach programs, which often times disappoint us because the engine is old! We give all praise to Him.
MOBILIZING CHURCH FOR MISSIONS
We gave more attention to mobilising the body of Christ for missions as part of our effort to meet the need for more missionaries in frontier missions. We spoke at The Redeemed Christian Church of God and at the Global outreach Church in Jalingo, Taraba State. Many persons answered God’s call to become missionaries and many lives were impacted. We have been privileged to partner with Victory Life missions in bringing the need for world missions especially the Muslim world.
SECRET DISCIPLES FROM FULANI MUSLIM BACKGROUND
As the atmosphere of Boko Haram gets more tensed in Northern Nigeria, God is touching more lives from the Muslim background and more disciples from the traditional religion are been recorded in Taraba State in North-East, Nigeria. While some are courageously beginning to introduce their new faith in Christ, others are encouraged to still conceal their faith till they are well established in faith. A missionary couple is laboring among them. In view of the prevailing security situation in Northern Nigeria, we have deliberately concealed some of our reports
Please pray for the missionaries and their family as well as these converts for divine provision and protection. A muslim convert by name Lukas had to backslide because of material things given to him and a promise to give him a Muslim girl as wife. Please we solicit your prayers for him(Lukas) to return back to faith.
RESEARCH AND SPIRITUAL MAPPING
We embarked on research trip and spiritual mapping among Dirim people in Taraba State sharing border with Adamawa state North -East Nigeria. The two villages (Kaigama & Dogo-Yaso) have to no school, clinic, church and no social amenities. Only Motorbike can access this road of about 50 kilometers from Motor-able road.
These villages live behind the mountain. There is no movement during rainy season(June-Oct) due to the three major rivers that overflows during this period which confined them to their villages. We were well received by Village heads. The few days spent, we engaged in prayer walk to liberate the land for the entrance of the gospel.
MISSIONARIES SUPPORTS
We will continue to support missionaries on monthly basis for efficient and effective missions work in Northern Nigeria. Many missionaries on the field are lacking support. Adequate support will in turn affect the speed of gospel to unreached nations.
APPRECIATION
We are always encouraged to know that you are with us in prayers and selfless financial input in the work. We will continue to count on your earnest prayer and financial support as we press forward despite the increasingly fierce and intense opposition from Boko Haram havoc. We pray for you often that God of heaven will replenish your source and reward the labor of your love.
We solicit your Prayers for the provision of Mission Outreach Vehicle and more motorbikes for missionaries that trek several kilometers to preach the gospel. Pray for encouragement, divine provision and protection for the foot soldiers. Pray for me and my family that God will provide to meet personal and ministry needs and above all inner strength and good health.
